Manila has been one of the most exciting Web3 hotspots in Asia this season, and the YGG Web3 Gaming and Esports Festival proved exactly why. The event brought together gamers, founders, creatives, investors, guild leaders, developers and Web3 storytellers from all over the world. It was a four day celebration of gaming culture, blockchain innovation and the creator communities that keep this industry alive.
Our FROGEN team members Luna and Kero Kero joined the festival in person and experienced everything from the esports qualifiers to the high level workshops. Their recap gives a clear picture of what the future of Web3 gaming looks like and how FROGEN fits into that future.

Esports Qualifiers
The qualifiers were surprisingly intense and organized at a level similar to traditional esports events. What made it special was seeing Web3 titles treated with the same respect and professionalism as mainstream games. Night Gala and GAM3RS Awards
The Gala and the award ceremony were among the biggest highlights of the entire event. The hall was full of founders, developers, creators, esports organizations, investors and passionate community members. Seeing the top games and creators of the year get recognized showed how much talent is entering the space. It also gave us a clear view of the direction that innovation is heading.
